Bill Morrison is the general manager of the group and takes care of all the bookings for the group. He sings baritone and does it with a tremendous amount of class. You could look the world over and not find a better baritone or kinder person than Bill. He was raised as the son of a Methodist Minister, and has always been active in his home church, Midway United Methodist. He is one of the original members and founders of The Believers.
Bill and his wife, Judy live in Midway, TN. Their son Anthony and his wife Jessica also live in Midway. Their pride and joy are Drew & McKenzie, their 2 grandchildren, who they spend a tremendous amount of time with. Bill is retired which gives him more time to serve the Lord and enjoy his grandchildren. He is always busy working in the community, and in church projects. He is eager to perform each job in a way that glorifies the Lord.
Helen Gentry sings the high part for the group and has been singing gospel music most of her life. Once you have heard her you won’t ever forget her and her delightful voice. Raised as the daughter of a minister, she started early in life as an active singer for the Lord. For years she has served and witnessed at her home church, Bradburn Hill United Methodist Church. She greatly loves the Lord and eagerly seeks His will.
Helen is retired and lives in Chuckey, TN. She has one son, Chris, and two daughters, Melissa and Kathy. She will quickly tell you the pride and joy of her life are her four grandchildren; Jonathan, Sadie, Bryant and Quentin and her great-grandchildren; Jackson and Piper. She is the first cousin of Bill and Phyllis and is dedicated to using her talents for the glory of God and sharing His love through song.
Scott Morrison is the groups lead singer and bass guitarist. He also takes care of driving the bus and maintenance on the bus. He also makes sure all of the sound equipment is in working order before each concert. Scott and his wife, Lissa live in Rheatown, TN with their daughter Nikki who also is the groups drummer. He has traveled with the group for about 20 years and takes pride in using his talents for the Lord. Scott is the nephew of Bill and Phyllis and the cousin to Helen. Scott is very thankful for his christian home and background. Scott, Lissa and Nikki all attend Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He is deeply grateful for the blessings God has given him and his family. He has chosen to seek his will and asking God to bless his efforts as he reaches out to share his witness.
Phyllis Nalley is the groups pianist and has been playing for over 50 years starting at the early age of six. Phyllis is also an original member of the group which formed over 35 years ago. She does a super job on the keyboard and uses her talents for the Lord. She has her own unique style of playing, which adds to the groups sound. She is employed by State Farm Insurance. She and her husband, Richard, live in Mosheim, TN. They have 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, Jeff and Kaye Hatley, and Mike and Lisa Nalley. They also have 3 grandchildren, Joseph, Taylor and Mike, Jr. and 2 great-granddaughters, Haille and Samara. She is so thankful that she is able to use her talents to minister to others.
Nikki Morrison is the drummer for the group. She is the daughter of Scott and Lissa. She has traveled with the group since she was about 1 year old and grown up on the bus. When she decided that she wanted to do her part to contribute to the ministry we didn’t dream it would be as a drummer and she has been playing for the group for about 6 years now. It is very commendable that she wants to work for the Lord as a young person. Mom and Dad are proud of her and the fact she uses her talents for the Lord.
Nikki's boyfriend of 3 years, Jason Brown, also travels with the group and helps with equipment and sometimes fills in as the sound engineer. We appreciate him for supporting her as part of the group.
Lissa Morrison makes sure the groups sound is a blessing, not a blasting serving as the sound engineer. She is the wife of Scott and mother of Nikki. Lissa has been doing the sound for the group for about 12 years and has traveled with the group for about 20 years supporting them along the way, but when the opportunity came along to do the sound she was more than happy to take on the task. She and Scott also maintain the website and take care of any promotional tasks. She is also the graphic designer for the group. These are her ways of serving the Lord with the group.
